Throw back of over 6 years ago when I thought I ate that blow out in cosmetology school vs 6 years of working experience. It really is all about time to build any skill 💪 ft. The same skinny legend @suhrenabee

This is my third time cutting this skullet and it’s getting longer and longer! Long enough now to add in some red which I think really completes the look 🔥

Sometimes lowlights are more important than highlights! This client was WAY too blonde and sick of it as her hair was quite damaged from over foiling. Only popped a few on the top and around her face but the rest were all lowlights! We also did a big chop! #redkenshadeseq #lowlights #highlights #livedincolor #livedinblonde #crisselnewyorkhairsalon

We love when someone is feeling their hair 🙌 call me the silk press queen cause even though we finally got rain in NYC I’m still pressing it out for my curly girls #newhairwhodis #blowout #silkpress #straighteninghair #crisselnewyorkhairsalon

We keep adding more and more PINK 💖 but it’s hard not too when it’s just sooo good! The easiest lift, no root shadow, bright and gold, and blonde! #wellablondor #redkenshadeseq #pravanavivids #blondehair #foilayage #babylights #pinkhair #peekaboohair #crisselnewyorkhairsalon

Some Mid-Week hair tips……………………………………………………………………………..1. Salon quality products have better quality ingredients and are a more concentrated product. Meaning they last longer and are better for your hair than store-bought alternatives may contain inferior ingredients, superfluous fillers, and harsh chemicals that can, in the long run, damage your hair’s health…………………………………………………………………………2. Heat Tools and Hot water will dry out your hair and also strip your color! Dry hair causes radial and axial cracking along the edges of the hair cuticle, which makes your hair weaker and can lead to breakage, chipping and split ends. Always use a heat protectant, especially when using heat tools and always wash with lukewarm water…………………………………………………………………………3. Stress can live in the body for a lot longer than we think! And can affect everything in the body and the hair is included in that! Stress can push hair follicles into a “resting” phase so that they don’t produce new hair strands. Second, an increase in stress can make your scalp produce more oil. This may disrupt your scalp’s microflora balance, which often causes flaking and itching. Letting go of stress can have massive improvements on your hair and overall happiness ☺️
